Nestled in Crow Road for 10+ years, Cafe Circa has evolved from a Vintage Cafe selling knick knacks and food, to a time capsule that depicts a family’s travel from 1937 till 2018. The story of the pictures on show start with a snap of the Glasgow Exhibition in Bellahouston Park and travels forward in time to the introduction of our latest grandchild. The link in the journey is our great grandmother.
As you cast your eye from one end of the room you see her growing, meeting her husband, her children being born and then you stop. Turning, you notice that the pictures change from black & white to colour and the story rebegins with two primary school children (the cafe owners) and thus our story starts to unfold.
The menu at Cafe Circa has changed over the years and as one reviewer noted “..the menu offers something for everyone..). From a portion of toast to Salmon Jenga, and also a good vegetarian range. Our focus has always been to offer Good Honest Grub that is affordable.
